About The Clark Thrift store
Our Mission
The Clark University thrift store is a hub of creativity and sustainability on campus. We sell affordable, second-hand clothing as well as hand-crafted goods from Clark student businesses. The thrift store is run by student employees and is open to both the Clark University community and the general public. The Clark Community Thrift Store accepts donations of all clothing and small housewares! We are unable to accept bedding and large individual items, and we also have donation bins in each of the Clark University dorms.
The Clark University Thrift Store has a mission to provide affordable shopping options for the Clark University community and the wider Worcester area while promoting sustainability and community engagement through student employment.
The store aims to reduce waste and minimize the environmental impact of consumerism by giving a new life to items that would otherwise end up in landfills. By promoting second-hand shopping and encouraging the reuse of items, the thrift store promotes a more sustainable way of living.
